Carrie Carpenter
was born and raised in Colorado, where music first found its way into my life. At just eight years old, I began writing songs and playing guitar, pouring my thoughts and feelings into melodies. As life unfolded, I set music aside to raise my family, cherishing that season of love and growth. Years later, my journey took an unexpected turn with the diagnosis of Multiple System Atrophy (MSA-C), a rare and terminal disease. MSA has taken many things from me—including the strong singing voice I once had—but it has also given me a deeper purpose. Writing has become my lifeline and my form of communication, a way to share my heart when words alone are not enough. Through the Suno app, my lyrics are given voice and music once again. I refine each song until it carries the message I long to share. Every note is a prayer, every lyric a testimony—raising awareness about this devastating disease while honoring my Savior, who gives me strength and courage.
